But how do you clean a wrapped car and keep your new look pride and joy clean?
We’ve put together some hints and tips from our fitters who know everything there is to know about wraps and how to keep them looking in tip top condition.
Car beign hand washed
- Hand wash only– using a pressure washer, steam cleaner or industrial scrubbing machine will ruin your wrap so roll up your sleeves and enjoy your one to one time with your car
- As you might have guessed from our point above – no car washes!
- Don’t use any abrasive products to clean your car – it will only scratch the wrap, like it would the paintwork
- if you choose to polish your car check any polish on a small area of the bodywork first to ensure it doesn’t cause any problems with your wrap
- If you take your car to a garage for repairs or a service, etc. they often clean your car as part of the service – ensure you make it clear to them that your car can be hand washed only, we always recommend they write it on the job sheet so as to prevent any mishaps
