Police Porsche Panamera GTS You can run, but you can’t hide. So, if the Fuzz on your tail happens to be driving this Porsche GTS Panamera, you might be better advised to “pull over, driver”. Then, you can do some time, admiring PROvinyl + Vinyl-madness award-winning graphic work. To be honest, this car is a loaner to the Harbourside Local Command from Porsche Car Australia, where it does duty as a promotional vehicle in community engagement events and youth programs. Touted as a Japanese Ferrari Beater, the Mitsubishi GTO had an 11 year model run until 2001. With a 24 valve twin turbocharged double overhead cam V6 crammed under the hood, this little Sake screamer flies like a banshee. Its current motoring enthusiast owner has invested a lot of time in building a totally unique car, and decided today against a paint refresh. This time he called for a softer look, choosing 3M’s satin White for a total wrap, leaving only the motors’ cool air intake shrouded in black. Only at PROvinyl. |

Many are unaware of the Bentley competition heritage. Having aced allcomers, Bentley has long since hung up its racing spurs. Now, content in the knowledge that they can build cars that will outpace and outhandle almost any modern marque, Bentley are happy to build massively powered cars of distinction, for a select elite. Bond would drive one, only he is not cut of the right cloth. A long legged saloon such as the Bentley Continental GT is the ideal machine to traverse the country, yet still arrive fresh and ready for business. Thinking the original dark blue a little staid, our owner has chosen to pimp his ride, sheathing the low slung coupe in a shimmering coat of pearl white gloss, with contrasting dark tinted windows - to ensure privacy. The formerly gleaming chrome grill is now shrouded in gloss black, so that one need never know of the awesome but refined powerhouse lurking behind. Stately in repose, this stunning custom makeover retains the understated Bentley demeanor, and in accordance with that tradition is “adequate”.

This full body wrap, a smouldering red BMW 3 Series coupe, is an Australian first. The first Australian car, that is, to showcase 3M’s matte red vinyl finish. The baby beamer sports a carbon fibre finish roof and side mirrors. Our final piece of resistance was to give the Bavarian brat fresh red brake calipers and slick gloss black rims. Hmm…black and red? Ducati – that’s Italian for motorcycle. This impossibly sexy beast is 1198cc of superbike GRUNT. Our clients become friends, and this Duke’s owner had previously trusted us to wrap his ride in carbon fibre. We think his new matte yellow/black colour scheme is inspirational. Retaining a large chunk of carbon on the windscreen, we sprayed the front air-scoops black, leaving mirrors stock. Then we decked out the tank, seat, fairing and front guard in honey, with the wheels getting the same highlighting treatment, to totally own the KILLER BEE look. The result? Bellissimo – that’s Italian for PROvinyl.

ANOTHER FEATURE IS THE ADVANCED PAINT PROCESS USED: THIS ONE SPORTING AN 8 STAGE PROCESS INCLUDING 3 CLEAR COATS TO GIVE IT GREAT DEPTH AND CHIP RESISTANCE. IT ORIGINATED AS A RACE CAR IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING; THE 2013 MODEL SPORTS A TWIN-TURBOCHARGED V8, PUMPING 560HP. BMW HAS DONE A GREAT JOB OF COMBINING LUXURY, FUEL EFFICIENCY AND PERFORMANCE. OVER AN ORIGINAL FACTORY FINISH OF BLACK GLOSS, THIS M5 NOW HAS ADDED PERSONALITY, COURTESY OF THE OWNER’S CHOICE OF 3M SATIN WHITE WRAP, WITH SELECTED FEATURES PICKED OUT IN BLACK CARBON FIBRE.
