We recently got a request to wrap another stunning Lamborghini, this time in a matte black vinyl from fender to boot. And while the owner didn’t explicitly ask for their Lambo to come out looking like another iteration of the Batmobile, the similarities can’t be ignored.
Minus a few models (like the bright red sports car that counted as the first official Batmobile), one of the vehicle’s staples is a dark colour palette, an area in which this Lamborghini excels.
Matte also wasn’t always present (Tim Burton’s version had an almost mirror-like polish), but it did come into play in a few iterations. For example, Christopher Nolan’s Tumbler had a satin-matte finish similar to this Lamborghini's car wrap.
When it comes to overall shape, the Lamborghini is a far cry from the tank-like Tumbler. However, it is pretty close to Ash Thorp’s muscle-car inspired design for the upcoming film, The Batman.
But no matter the size or complexity of a vehicle, Batmobile or otherwise, a quality vinyl wrap won’t warp its iconic features. And as a bonus, it will be a durable coat to protect the vehicle underneath from chips and scratches, which Batman can clearly benefit from.
